How it works
1) Oil Company
Oil wells produce both oil and large volumes of water. That water must be managed before production can continue.

Specialized trucks and pipelines move produced water safely from the well site to licensed treatment and disposal facilities.
3) Treatment
When needed, produced water is treated to remove oil and other materials before its final destination, while recovered oil can often be reclaimed and sold.
4) Disposal Well
Licensed disposal wells permanently inject the water deep underground into approved geological formations, allowing oil production to continue safely and efficiently.
